Sonata declares First Quarter Results 2004-2005

Sonata declares First Quarter Results - Net increases by 39% over the quarter last year.
Mumbai, July 22, 2 005.

The Board of Directors, at its meeting held here today, took on record the Audited Accounts of Sonata Software Ltd for the Quarter ended 30th June 2005.

Sonata Software Limited consolidated Revenue was Rs. 855.04 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2005 as compared to Rs. 788.33 million for the same quarter last year. PAT was at Rs. 49.29 million for the quarter ended 30 June 2005 as compared to Rs. 43.21 million for the same quarter last year.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. B. Ramaswamy, President & Managing Director stated, " The growth has been a result of our sharp focus on building successful partnerships with our customers. The opportunity to work on areas which add great business value to our customers, is really exciting."
