Sonata opens Third development center in Bangalore

BANGALORE: IT consulting and software service provider, Sonata Software Ltd., has opened its third development center at Richmond Road, Bangalore. With a total area of 35,000 square feet and four floors, the center is built to house over 300 IT professionals. The new center is expected to house an Offshore Development Center (ODC) to support Symantec's IT organization.

The latest facility has been designed keeping in mind flexible, scalable and independent operations. This Offshore Development Center is equipped with the latest world-class technologies and network infrastructure for complete IT security; and is capable of operating as multiple, independent, dedicated offshore centers for multiple clients.

Sonata Software currently has two offices in Bangalore and seven overseas offices, out of which five are in the United States. The commencement of operations in the new center strengthens Sonata's position as a firmly established company, with solid foundations and accelerating on a continuous growth path.
