TUI inaugurates Sonata's Development Center in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 19th, 2005

Keith Newman, IT Director for TUI UK, today inaugurated Sonata's latest development center at Hyderabad. The center is the fourth and the most modern in Sonata's portfolio in India. With a total area of 90,000 square feet and five floors, the state-of-the art center will house approximately 800 IT professionals.

The new facility will house an Offshore Development Centre (ODC) to support TUI-UK's IT organization. The new development center will provide Systems development, migration, quality assurance, testing, maintenance and enhancement services for TUI's strategic IT initiatives. This facility has been designed keeping in mind flexible, scalable and independent operations. It is equipped with the latest world-class technologies and network infrastructure for complete IT security; and is capable of operating as multiple, independent, dedicated offshore centers for multiple clients.

Sonata's global network of client servicing centers includes three development centers in Bangalore and nine overseas offices, out of which five are in the United States and three in Europe.

Inaugurating the new office, Mr. Keith Newman, IT Director for TUI UK said, "I am very pleased at the rapid scaling up we have seen in our relationship with Sonata. The second ODC at Hyderabad in a matter of 7 months in a testimony to this.''
