Venkat heads the Strategic Finance and Risk Management function at Sonata. In this profile, he oversees various aspects of Risk Management and Control functions, including valuations and deal structuring for M&A’s, Financial Information Systems, and Legal & Regulatory functions at Sonata. He also focuses on Investor Relations.
Prior to joining Sonata, Venkat was CFO and Head of Operations at Team Lease Services. Having worked in Consulting, IT and HR services, he brings to Sonata a combined experience of 14 years. He started his career with Andersen after which he spearheaded the Finance functions at both Perot Systems and Mind Tree Consulting.
A Chartered Accountant, Venkat enjoys swimming, playing Billiards and reading. He is married to Jaya and loves spending time with his 2 children – Shivakami and Narayanan.
