Ram Subramanya spearheads the SAP enabled business transformation programs for Sonata’s customers. Ram drives our relationship with SAP as their preferred partner and works with our clients on providing value based solutions for their SAP initiatives. He focuses on enhancing our foray on SAP services in to the Europe, US and Middle East markets. Integrating the combined capabilities of Sonata Software and its subsidiary TUI InfoTec, Sonata’s SAP practice will offer near shore and offshore capabilities to optimize TCO for our clients in managing their SAP installations.

 

A Bachelor of Industrial & Production Engineering (B.E), from RVCE, Bangalore, Ram holds certifications in “Global Business Leadership” from Harvard Business School, and in “Mastering the Integrated Program (MIP)” from Stanford University. Prior to joining Sonata, Ram worked with Satyam Computers as SAP Delivery Head for a food major. He has been instrumental in building large program/practice teams and has led these programs end-to-end, from pre-sales to post-implementation sustenance activities.

 

Having started his career with MICO (Bosch), Ram’s career spans over 19 years. He has built successful ERP Services business across India, Middle East, US and Europe. He has worked in several Fortune 100 Companies and has participated in key strategic initiatives which include SAP implementations, global roll-outs and setting up sustained operations. He has rich experience in harmonization of business and IT processes across different functions and geographies.

 

His diverse knowledge of the industry and expertise in SAP complements Sonata’s aim to expand its strategic enterprise offerings. Ram his wife Rekha and daughter Neethi live in Bangalore and they love travelling. He is an avid reader of management literature and enjoys listening to audio books.
