Sonata Consolidated Q3 Net at Rs.15.71 Crs - Up 85% Y.O.Y

The Board of Directors at its Meeting held here today, took on record the audited accounts of Sonata Software Limited for the quarter ended 31st December, 2006.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. B Ramaswamy, President & Managing Director, stated that “During the quarter the acquisition of 50.1% share in TUI InfoTec was completed. The consolidated results for the quarter include the results of TUI InfoTec for the period 1st Nov’06 to 31st Dec’06 i.e. Revenue of Rs. 1289.8 mn and Sonata’s share of Profit after Tax of Rs. 52.5 mn. On a consolidated basis the return on capital employed (annualised) improved from 18.92 % to 28.34 % and return on networth (annualised) improved from 19.31% to 31.89%. ”
