Commenting on the results Mr. Rajsekhar Datta Roy, CEO of Sonata Software said: Our focused execution around AI led engineering and go to market, has led to a steady progress this quarter, with early signs of revenue growth of 2.70 % QoQ. We continue to significantly enhance our flagship Harmoni.AI suite of solutions, strengthen differentiated capabilities and add AI first partnerships. Our AI-led OB now accounts for 25% of total OB. At the same time, our continued focus on operational excellence delivered PAT growth of 11.1% QoQ.

Aligned to our three-pillar strategy, we expanded our customer base through new corporate customer wins, successfully renewed all large multi-year enterprise contracts across our Software and Hyperscaler businesses, and increased business with non-Hyperscaler OEMs through focused go-to-market execution. During the quarter, we further strengthened our partnership with AWS through a five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement to accelerate cloud adoption and modernization for enterprises across India. Looking ahead, we remain focused on expansion and growth from cloud-managed services and AI-led transformation engagements.
Performance Highlights for Q2’27:
International IT Services:
- In INR terms, revenue for Q2’27 stood at ₹797.9 Crores, growth of 2.7% QoQ and 9.3% YoY
- In USD terms, revenue for Q2’27 stood at $82.8 Million, growth of 1.0% QoQ and 0.9% YoY. In CC terms growth of 1.2% QoQ and growth of 1.3% YoY.
- EBITDA (before other income, forex and exceptional items) for Q2’27 stood at ₹123.7 Crores, growth of 3.4% QoQ.
- Q2’27 PAT stood at INR 69.1 Crores as against INR 62.2 Crores in Q1’27, growth of 11.1%.
- DSO stood at 52 days in Q2’27, compared to 60 days in Q1’27.
- ROCE stood at 19.2% in Q2’27, compared to 14.9% in Q1’27.
- RONW stood at 17.7% in Q2’27, compared to 15.2% in Q1’27.
- 4 new customers were added during the quarter.
Domestic Products & Services:
- Revenue for Q2’27 stood at ₹1655.6 Crores, growth of 19.0% YoY.
- Gross contribution For Q2’27, gross contribution stood at ₹82 Crores, growth of 4.5% QoQ and 19.3% YoY.
- EBITDA (before other income, forex and exceptional items) for Q2’27 stood at ₹55.8 Crores, growth of 20.0% YoY.
- Q2’27 PAT stood at INR 47.3 Crores as against INR 45.9 Crores in Q1’26, growth of 3.1% QoQ and 12.2% YoY.
- DSO stood at 47 days in Q2’27, compared to 65 days in Q1’27.
- ROCE stood at 58.2% in Q2’27, compared to 57.7% in Q1’27.
- RONW stood at 42.9% in Q2’27, compared to 42.7% in Q1’2
Consolidated:
- Revenue for Q2’27 stood at ₹2445.2 Crores, growth of 15.4% YoY.
- EBITDA (before other income, forex and exceptional items) for Q2’27 stood at ₹179.5 Crores, growth of 3.9% YoY.
- Q2’27 PAT stood at INR 116.4 Crores as against INR 108.1 Crores in Q1’27, growth of 7.7% QoQ.
- Cash and cash equivalents (gross) stood at ₹ 426.3 Crores.
- Cash and cash equivalents (net) stood at (₹ 69.3 Crores).
- ROCE stood at 25.8% in Q2’27, compared to 21.9% in Q1’27.
