Insurance agents spend much of their day in Outlook while client, policy, and servicing work must be captured accurately in core insurance systems. A legacy COM-based Outlook add-in had become increasingly difficult to support as the Microsoft 365 ecosystem shifted toward modern, web-ready add-in standards.

This PoC demonstrates the end-to-end automation of sales order entry for the US Additives business unit of the client. The AI agent handles two primary order channels, email (including attachments) and phone-call-assisted entry, and orchestrates validation, ERP posting, and CSR approval workflows.
