Fraudulent job offers
Sonata Software is an equal opportunity employer committed to a fair, transparent, and legitimate recruitment process.
It has recently come to our attention that fraudsters, posing as representatives of Sonata Software’s recruitment team, are deceiving job seekers into believing they have received an offer from us.
To protect yourself from such fraudulent activities, please note:
- No fees: Sonata Software never charge candidates at any stage of the recruitment process, including interviews, assessments, visas, or placement fees. Do not share your bank or card or other details or transfer/pay money for a job opportunity with us.
- Verification steps: The recruitment process at Sonata Software involves at least one round of in-person meeting and photo validation.
- No sensitive data request: We never request personal or financial information (such as bank account numbers, credit/debit card details, passwords, or OTPs - one-time verification codes) as part of recruitment activities.
- Official communications: All official emails will come from our verified domains @sonata-software.com. Beware of lookalike domains or unofficial accounts.
- Job listings: All genuine job opportunities are posted only on our official careers page - www.sonata-software.com/careers. We do not use free email providers or unsolicited social media messages for recruitment.
Stay alert and avoid acting on messages from unknown or unofficial sources.
If you believe you have been targeted by recruitment fraud, please report the incident to law enforcement authorities appropriately.
